Purple smokey look

Hi Guys :D
I created this pretty purple smokey look. Perfect for parties and a night out :D Just so you know, other than neutrals and corals, purple also makes a great complimentary color for asians :D

Here are the steps.
1. Apply your favourite base. Preferably black, bronze, gold, or purple.

2. Apply a dark matte brown just concentrating on the lids.

3. Apply a shimmery purple/violet on top of the brown with an eyeshadow brush (equals to MAC 239) and using a fluffy blending brush, take some more purple, in a sweeping motion go slightly up pass the brown. (So the purple you put on top of the brown would be the heaviest, whereas the area above it where the brown isn't applied on should be only a wash of purple)

4. Finally, using a pencil brush, apply a matte black eyeshadow focusing on just the edge first, then with the remaining black sweep inwards along the crease and stop about halfway through.

5. Apply silverish white on the inner corners to give extra "life" to the look.

6. Apply a thin black liquid liner and false lashes on the upper lashline :) And for those of you who want extra drama, don't hesitate to apply a black liner on the bottom lashline as well :D For me, I'll just leave it like that :)

7. And you're done!

Tutorials! Winged liner and simple brown look for monolids :)

Hey guys.
It's seriously been so long since ive made a tutorial. 2 years ago? lol. That time i was just starting with makeup. wasn't that experienced. now it's been 2 years. You guys judge. LOL

I have 3 sisters, two of them including me, have monolid eyes, which we all hate. Well for some people monolids look perfectly fine. But not for us. we have hooded eyelids. without eyetape, trying to make us look 'beautiful' is just pain in the neck. No joke. perfectly true. So far the best makeup trick I've discovered for all monolids including hooded eyelid people is to put on a super thick black liquid liner on the upper lid. SUPER THICK, like 0.5 cm. That creates the illusion of bigger eyes. Always abide by this rule, and you'll be fine. Eyeshadow exceptional.

For a more sophisticated look, try winged liner. Takes a while to find your angle and balance the left and right line. But don't worry. practice makes perfect : )
Keep in mind that not everybody can pull off cat eye. Like me. Not sexy do i look in cat eye, but evil. RAAWWR!

So what I do is that I try to find my own angle. To create a cat eye you just simply wing the line up following your bottom eye line, towards the end of your eyebrows. Then drag the line towards the inner corner. The line has to get thinner and thinner as you go inwards. This trick works best on bigger and hollow eyelids. But for monolids and asian double eyelids (small lids), lay the wing down just a little bit so the it doesn't look too dramatic and overwhelming.

See what I mean? If I follow my bottom eyeline, my wing would be higher and the result will be too harsh for me. FYI, i'm using an eyetape :)

Wanna look sexier for a night out? spice it up with this eyeshadow combination. Dark brown and orange. Put the brown all over the lid. The color has to be the heaviest at the bottom, softer and softer as you go up, then blend away the harsh edges with a fluffier brush. Then apply matte bright orange just on top of the brown, sort of mixing it with the faded brown. Blend blend blend, and voila! You've got a simple, pretty smokey look that's not at all scary!

my thoughts on my new traincase, makeup pallette, and brush set.

Hey guys.

Here are my thoughts about my recent purchases on makeup.

The professional pallette

This is what i've been talking about. The case is hardcase and quite heavy to be carried by one hand. IMO not many people would need this. Seriously. Although it does carry a lot of basic stuff we need as makeupartist wannabe, I don't think the colors are that flattering. Esp the eyeshadows. crappyyy. It carries 6 creamy foundations, 6 powder foundations, 4 finishing powders, 4 liquid foundations,2 eyeliner pencils, 1 lip pencil, 1 brow pencil, 1 mascara, 6 loose eyeshadows, 15 eyeshadows, 4 blushes, 15 lipsticks, and 4 lipglosses.

To tell you the truth I don't like any of them. Quality is very decent, colors not so wearable for eyeshadow, not quite right for foundations, not quite flattering for lipsticks, not enough choice for blushes, and crappy color payoff for everything. Sigh. I bought them just because i don't want to buy so many different shades of foundations and I don't want the models to wear my own :( Such a shame. I do like the organisation of the pallette and the fact that the pallette carries lots of different foundation shades in one case (coz foundations are exp!). Sorry to say this but for those who are in need of a good professional makeup pallette, this pallette by PAC isn't a good choice. PRICE: RP 2,100,000,- AVAILABLE AT Martha Tilaar Store.

19 Brush set.

I would say the quality is okay. Although I do have my own brush collection I think I wouldn't skip this one. These brushes are different from my own. Some of the brushes I do not own, such as fan brush, eyebrow comb, eyeliner brush, etc. The set carries around 5-6 eyeshadow brushes (all MAC 239 look alike). I thought at first, what a loss! I paid for DIFFERENT BRUSHES in one set! But come to think about it. If i'm a makeupartist, I would need more than 2 eyeshadow brushes to apply different colors on different people. Right? :D So definitely buy this one if you're just starting out with makeup :)

TRAINCASE

This cute red traincase I got from Plaza Senayan's Sogo, beauty section. I've never heard of the brand Masami Shouko before, but sounds good yeah? (coz it's japanese name!) hahahaha :D I've been dreaming of getting a makeup traincase in my life, but never actually asked my mom to get one for me. Because it's quite exp, I'm scared if I'm not gonna use it well. But since I'm going to be serious in makeup, i bursted the gut to ask her :) And it's 50% off too :D

Eyebrows.

Hey guys.

Today I had 2 makeup sessions. that means 4 hours. I know right. Crazy. But I quite like it so far. My teacher, Ms. Sri is very nice, though not the most patient and understanding teacher but overall she's a nice one. She likes soft and light makeup, using pastel colors such as light purple and pink. However, she's very strict with eyebrows. FYI, when I do makeup, I barely care about eyebrows. why? because my 'clients' are always conservative with the way they look. They don't care about makeup trends or products. They don't care about what other people think about how eyebrows 'should' look. They don't like to change anything. They just want to look nice, simple, and clean. most of the time.
I like thick eyebrows. But I never ever liked thick, thin, and FAKE eyebrows. I don't know why older people like to DRAW their eyebrows, or make eyebrow tattoos. Please don't ever let them be in trend! EVER. I also don't understand why people like THIN eyebrows. Thin eyebrows only make you look 1. funnier, 2. older and 3. grumpier.

OK I should stop rambling now. Sigh. too much talkin.
The point is. I don't like to be VERY PRECISE with eyebrows. Our natural eyebrows are not so tidy, yet not so full. Waxing eyebrows may be one solution to solve out-of-shape eyebrows, and eyebrow pencils/shadows are necessary to create the illusion of fuller eyebrows. But should the application be overly neat and thick? I'm afraid not. The application should be barely there. you should barely see eyeshadow on your brows and you should still see your hairs besides your eyeshadow or your pencil. That's the key to look youthfully pretty. Sigh. Ms. Sri corrects my eyebrow application so many times. Problems? Not enough eyeshadow, too scared to fill. Sometimes, i applied more because the model's eyebrows are awfully thin. She doesn't like it. Sigh. I really don't like messing around with eyebrows. As long as they are nicely shaped and filled I'm happy with that.

One more thing you might like to know. Gusnaldi always teaches students to use HAIRSPRAY to groom eyebrows before you fill them in. And you know what, once the hairspray touches the skin, you can't apply any color to it. And they still demand the thickest line. sigh. Do they know that eyebrow gel is way more popular than hairspray? MY GOD.

Products that I like: Shu Uemura's Hard formula brow pencil no 2. Perfect color, perfect thickness, very natural :)

I wanna be a makeup artist!

Hey guys.

I just enrolled in the Professional/Advanced Makeup course at Gusnaldi Salon Jakarta. Will start tomorrow morning. 13 sessions, 26 hours. The details said they will teach us basic makeup, party makeup, dramatic, and creative makeup. Sounds pretty tough huh? They also offer a certificate upon completion of the course. Not to mention, an examination in the last session. Sigh. I am worried. Worried, you ask? Yeah. Why? I can do makeup. I regularly do makeup for people. Shouldn't be worried. But exaaaam? hahahaa. Let us just pray.

I don't want to mention this but, i think i've got to. Very important. haha. The thing is, I should now start to appreciate my parents more guys. They've spent so much for me. Not only the course fee is so EX the course also requires me to buy professional makeup and brush set sold in Martha Tilaar Store. YES! I initially bought THE WHOLE THING!!! THE ONE WITH THE BIGGEST TRAINCASE IN THE STORE!!!!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I felt soooo guilty!!!! I wish i know when I can use this up. PLUS. You guys know my collection already. Even without this crazy purchases my little apartment on La Trobe Street still needs to spare a new room just for my makeup.

So. I wanna be a makeup artist. I think the previous paragraph explained everything really well. hahahaha. Seriously i gotta find a way to market myself in order to be a freelance makeup artist. Or this gigantic traincase and brush set will end up sumwhere in my dusty closet.

MAC Disney Venomous Villains reviews and swatches!

I was right. I spent freaking AUD282 for this collection. sigh. MAC is really mean to me. After Hello Kitty, now Disney. Though I was lucky enough that i was too young to wear makeup when it collaborated with Barbie. Right. so despite people's claims that it will sold out really quickly, that you have to come first thing in the morning to queue, in Melbourne it was nothing like that. On the 4th of October I woke up at 9.30 AM (couldn't really sleep due to excitement), went to MAC with two of my friends almost immediately, scared of the long queue and our stuffs being snatched out just like what happened with hello kitty. But to my surprise, there was no queue. I guess we were the first customers who came to see the collection. Two days after the launching date I came again to check the products that are already sold out. And it was only one of the nailpolishes. Hmm. weird. I bet this isn't the case in the U.S and Singapore.

But nevermind. At least we got the longest time to swatch and try out the products. Hee hee. So out of my wishlist, i got all except the Maleficent gloss in Revenge is Sweet and Mineralize eyeshadow in She Who Dares. You guys must be thinking i'm being unusually thrifty this time. haha. You know me. It's true i didn't get the 2 products from Maleficent as planned, but I still ended up spending more. Y? I fell in love with Cruella.

Onto the reviews..
N.B: i won't be talking about any of the single eyeshadows here because i think they're such a gimmick. Price: 38AUD, nothing special or new about the shades, except the very small stickers attached on the cap. I didn't even bother to swatch.

So I picked up three beauty powders (Cruella- Her own Devices, Evil Queen- Oh So Fair, Maleficent- Briar Rose), one blush (Evil Queen- Bite of an Apple), one lipstick (Cruella- Innocence, Beware), and one lipglass (Evil Queen- Strange potion). OK. I admit that I like Cruella the least in real life. She is old, i don't like her fashion, and she isn't starring in any of Disney Princesses. BUT I was especially in love with Cruella's lip products! It comes out with two lipsticks (one true red one pinkish nude) and two lipglasses (one pinkish red one glittery nude). I wanted to get them all seriously. But one stood out the most to me was obviously the Innocence, Beware lipstick. Such a perfect nudie pink. Similar to Revlon Soft Nude, which I already have but more pink, and some people say, Creme de nude by MAC, which I dont like because of the little coverage to my super pigmented lips. This one, right after i swatched it on the back of my hand i knew it had to be mine. it looked slightly better than revlon soft nude, because perhaps as a nude it has more color to it. I find this best paired with Evil Queen's Strange Potion lipglass which is a gorgeous wearable coral lipglass, to give it some color without overpowering it. Devilishly stylish is a tad like the beige version of She loves candy from the Hello Kitty collection, wasn't quite worth 41AUD because it's quite sheer. And the red lipstick, Heartless, was AMAZING on my skintone. I was undecided whether to get this one or Viva Glam Cindy which i love so much. But Viva Glam Cindy wasn't quite a red but a reddish coral, i would say.

I was especially happy with the beauty powders. oh my gosh. They are so smooth and pigmented, and I love them as blushes rather than all-overs. I can't pick up one winner out of the three because I love them equally. Cruella one is a peachy color- so it is uncomparable to the other two. The Evil Queen one is a candy pink color, makes you look really cute and fresh. The Maleficent one, which i was originally only sucked in by the name (my fave disney princess! Briar rose from Sleeping Beauty :D) was exceptionally beautiful too on my medium skintone. I was a little bit in doubt of the color as it looks a little bit extraordinary (purplish pink), but in the end it turn out very pretty. very princessy :) As for the evil queen blush, i'm not really excited about it because i used to wear benefit's benetint on my cheeks which gives me red flush too. But I love reddish blush. Think of Snow White's cheeks :D

Sadly, I didn't get the Maleficent purple gloss, Revenge is Sweet due to a few reasons. Well some people say it looked like Fast Friends from Hello Kitty Collection, which I already have and I obviously never use it on a daily basis. Secondly, I initially thought it would look great over a very nude lipstick. Well I don't hate the color of the lipglass itself, it's a pretty pinkish purple color, but instead of adding a slight tint to my lip, it cancels out the color of the nude lipstick i've put on earlier. Aaah. you know how hard it is to nude out my super pigmented lips. And this lipglass sweetly brushed off my effort.

As for the blue-green mineralize eyeshadow, I LOVE IT SO MUCH. but the fact that the size is even bigger than the usual seemingly neverending mineralize eyeshadows MAC had in the past and the green isn't even proportionately half of the eyeshadow, makes me really sad. I had to pay for AUD46 for more blue than green. I don't like blue eyeshadow. All I want is the forest green side. I know it would be so beautiful on asian eyes. Well I might get it someday, coz I'm so broke now : ( The only thing my friends got and I didn't was the Dr. Facilier's magically cool liquid powder in Truth and Light. The color is indeed pretty, good as a highlight, but I don't know why I just skipped this one. Maybe again, Dr. Facilier doesn't have a princess-worth face. haha.

NYX lipsticks and glosses

When I was in Singapore 2 weeks ago I finally received my NYX order from the Cherry Culture, and I was sooooo excited to try all of them on! The reason being is that in Melbourne some stores do carry NYX, but I would say only NYX trashes they've got there. I ordered mostly lip products, and some of its infamous jumbo pencils to test out. but here I want to review just the lip products because there are A LOT of them. It was so difficult to decide which ones I want to order because I don't get the chance to try them out in person, so I've been relying heavily on other people's swatches and reviews on the internet. Hearing so much about NYX makes me want to jump right into the bandwagon and get it no matter what it takes. So I simply ordered the colors I think I would like. I guess $2 for a lipstick won't hurt, afterall. Plus I didn't have to pay for any shipping tho, as my friend who was studying as an exchange student in LA helped me to order and stuff. So yeah. I ordered heaps.

All of them are AWESOME in terms of texture and color payoff. I'm pretty much satisfied and have no problem at all. I've been using them religiously until now =) However I would say not all of the colors are hits. I'll tell you what I think about them.

The lipsticks are extremely vibrant and moisturising. It's like a combination between lustre and cremesheen formulation in MAC. One swipe is sometimes too much for me. I usually do a dabbing motion to apply them.

I missed out Indian Pink :(

I surprisingly love the way Thalia looks on me although it's a dirty mauve color. A color that I would never look in a lipstick. It's beautiful, classy, and very ladylike. Love it. I don't quite like B52 as it's obviously too brown for my liking. Indian Pink is a very bright peachy-orange, but it has that runway feeling when you wear it. Very sexy. Fig is a bit difficult to wear as it's a middle toned bright pink, but I will somehow find the way to rock the lipstick =) Tea rose is quite similar to Kinda Sexy by MAC, a very wearable, universal, special-event color. I love Strawberry Milk more than Viva Glam Gaga. Both are bubblegum pink lipsticks, but Strawberry Milk is more pastel than bright, which i like. but if I have to choose, I would stick to Honey, Orange Soda, and Pumpkin Pie. I loooove my nudes =) Those lovely shades are really rare to me. None of them are similar to MAC's.

It's been a long timeeee!

I know rite. I've said this soooo many timessss. im sorryyyy I haven't bought as many makeup as I used to. But no worries i'm gonna post some good ones for you =) I tried to collect all my stuff and do a big haul. But that just won't work. Girls love details rite:)

Just giving you a quick update of myself. I just permed my hair at Sui Salon. I was afraid of small curls, so I asked the hairdresser, Harry to make mine big waves. It turned out to be a very decent wave, some of you would think I didn't even perm my hair. I hate it of course coz I don't want to pay $300 for a barely-there wave (slight wave at the front, straight at the back). So I complained, and he agreed to redo it. He warned me this time it will be really really curly, but i said I don't mind. I don't even dare to say 'please make it natural' anymore. So the second time turned really well. My hair looks gorgeousssss now =)
Ok let's move on to my haul.
Long time ago (lol) Priceline was having a HUGE sale on Covergirl Lashblast. FYI beauty products are extremely exp in Australia. So when I say huge sale, it must be huge. Know how big it is? They are all less $10. oh my god. Me and my sister (who happened to be visiting me at that time) picked up almost 10 Lash Blasts. Not just for ourselves, but for our friends as well. We are a big fan of Lash Blast, and yet it had just launched the new Lash Blast Length. So we were so excited to try that one on.

Also the other day I went to Priceline again and this time Maybelline was having a 3 for 2 sale. I needed to get Maybelline age rewind concealer for my friend so I decided to pick up 2 other things for myself, which happened to be mascaras. So far I have only tried one mascara from Maybelline, Maybelline Great Lash, which turns out to be extremely disappointing =( a big absolute zero for me. Cheap packaging, weird smell, and unworkable applicator that sting my eyes. yuck. The claim that it's a no.1 mascara is definitely a BIG FAT LIE. I can't understand why it even surpasses Covergirl Lashblast.

I decided to give it another shot. I took me like an hour just to decide which ones that I want to get. Then when I saw that glossy red packaging, I got sucked in almost immediately. Maybelline Lash Stiletto. I also heard a lot of good reviews about the original one, that it lengthens the lashes like nothing else, but I was more interested in trying the new voluptuous one. Because? I need more lashes to lengthen. You know what I mean. lol.

After a long search for the second one, I decided to pick the Colossal Volume Express up, also because of the hype it generates.

So let me tell you what I think about those three.

These are the packagings. Pretty alluring, yeah?

1. Maybelline Lash Stiletto

As you can see. The applicator is very unconventional. It's slightly curved, but not like other curling mascaras. The bristles look very convincing tho, as it resembles that of my beloved L'oreal Lash Architect. All I can say is that the formulation is a bit dry (maybe it's supposed to maintain the curl) and doesn't smell like the Great lash (which is a good thing). Lengthening and volumising wise, I do see a bit improvement on my lashes, but not a significant one. It's a pretty decent mascara. When applied on my bottom lashes, it seems to lengthen them greatly.

2. Maybelline Colossal Volume Express

It's not an overly bad mascara, but I HAAAAAATE THE SMELL. I can't stand it. It smells kinda like those flowers you would place on the grave. Err... Maybe you guys like it, but to me the smell sucks. The huge applicator looks pretty much alike to a bigger version of Benefit Badgal Lash, but only the formulation of this mascara is VERY THIN. I can understand why people say it's a great volumising mascara coz it does a good job at separating my lashes and it doesnt clump my lashes together, so it looks like as if i have more lashes. But still, you need to do coats and coats to get the false lash effect. It might be perfect for those who have a lot of lashes.

3. Covergirl Lash Blast Length
This claims to lengthen. I don't see that effect on me, but this is a pretty decent mascara. It's quite fine to use on daily basis, to make lashes appear naturally defined and curled. The formulation is thin and wet, so it doesn't clump like the volume one. Again, people with more lashes will like this.

SHU UEMURA PURCHASES

Hey guys.

So I decided to go to Shu Uemura go have a brow makeover. It's kinda expensive (freakin' $60) but it is redeemable with shu uemura products (so initially your brow makeover is free). The process was...AWFULLY PAINFUL coz apparently Shu Uemura does not wax. Yeah. You can imagine yourself. They PLUCK all your unwanted hairs. Sigh. I tried sooo hard not to cry coz it was sooo painful. like extremely painful eventho I don't have a lot of hairs.

Anyway. moving on to the products I get. I always wanted to try Shu Uemura Pro Concealer coz I gave my MAC studio finish concealer to my little sister for her to go to her friends' sweet 17th parties. I still own my MAC select cover, but it's not enough to cover my severe undereye circles. Kim Kardashian's makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic said it is an awesome one to get, so partially I got that one. Got one in shade 7Yr medium. It's $40, but it's well worth it. I love the thicker consistency, coz it does a good job at camouflaging my undereye circles. Now. What am I gonna spend for the rest $20? You makeup lovers might already know. soo hard rite? hahahaha. fine. I'll tell you. I didn't spend $20 but another $52 for its brown gel liner! Damn I am falling in LOVE with Shu's gel liners. The lady said it's extremely waterproof and smudgeproof.

I HAD TO GET IT.

I didn't get the black coz I have the MAC fluidline in Blacktrack at home and it was too harsh to be used on my bottom lash line. I ended up getting the brown.

I really really want to use it everyday coz i LOVE it so much, but it still looks kinda harsh when I use it on my bottom line :( :( although it's brown... Maybe I should get the purple then? lol.

I just got a new nude lipstick by Revlon. It's in their latest collection, Color Burst, and it's called Soft Nude. SOOOOO PRETTY. I wore it in the first pic. Gonna post some more pictures once my new camera (it's purpleee) comes! heheee. Planning to get one more nude lipstick by Rimmel (called Nude Delight!) hehehe. Never get enough of nudes and neutrals :( huhuhhuuu

I just come back from Odyssey Nails to remove my french acrylic nails. Huff. It was a pain. You guys know how it feels. French acrylics are pretty. They don't chip. they don't come off like press-on fake nails you buy from the supermarket. Super chic. and painful. I mean once your original nails grow, they look gross and they might break your nails if you put pressure on the outgrown acrylics. sigh.

Everytime I did my nails I always thought I'd refill them forever coz they are so pretty. But they brought too much hassle so in the end I chose to remove them and had my nails back. Well. I know i've made a right decision. I feel sorry for my nail condition now. They've become weak and fragile that you can easily bend them inwards. Yeah. Acrylics are not good for your nails. Plus they are thick and chunky too, make it even harder to type messages, apply under eye concealer, or even lipbalm that comes in the pot.

Well. I bet the owner of any nail salons are rich. You pay $45-$80 aussie for a full set of acrylics (different salons have different price), another $15-$30 for removal and $30-$50 for refill. Come to think about it. Nobody can remove salon-made acrylics by themselves. They ought to come back and pay more. And some like the idea of refilling coz they're paying less for another month of acrylics. huff. Not gonna have my nails done until July. Exam time!

Actually I don't care. I'm just broke T_____T.

But i'm quite happy seeing my nails back. It feels kinda light :) Heehehe. I couldn't wait to use my nailpolishes again! It's been so long since I saw my nails painted in colors. haha. had to do it at home coz it is extra $5 if I wanna have them painted in Odyssey Nails T.T

Moving on, i wanna tell you guys how i loveeee my swarovski blackberry 9700 case. I had it done back in Indonesia (even before I got my blackberry=p) 3 months ago, and I'm still adoring it. Yea. Call me crazy. I am an avid fan of hello kitty and i don't know why. She's not necessarily cute. Her Sanrio fellow Cinammoroll is way cuter. I just think she's adorable. A very girly icon. I chose a more simple design coz i believe if you put a lot of stuff on (with cupcakes, lollies, hearts etc) it starts losing its 'wow' effect. If you guys are wondering, the crystals don't easily fall off. I found the only part where most crystals fall off is on the line between the hard case and the silicone (my case is not all crystal-encrusted coz it is half silicone at the front).

And here's the picture of my blackberry and my nails now. The crystals don't really bling in here, which is a shamee :( They look really pretty under the lights. And the rose pink looks fuschia here:( Big, big dislikessss.

Its been a year...

Okay. it's been a year i know. hahaha. there are a couple of reasons why i stopped updating my blog. ehm. firstly my school's been crazy. So far i've had 2 subjects which have a blog assessment, so yeah i thought i would ignore my personal blog and focused on that. Secondly my mark wasn't very good, and my parents were blaming my constant makeup shopping :(

Today, May 1, 2010 I decided to write again because something very bad has happened to me. I cried all day, listened to lots of good inspirational songs, and talked to my friends abt my feelings. Still haven't erased my pain. I've been sitting in front of my laptop since i woke up this morning, feeling broken, emotionless, and hopeless. So i thought maybe, writing would help.

I don't know what happened to me. All bad things came to me at the same time, hitting me hard on the head, destroying my confidence. All of a sudden. I really need someone to comfort me, but no one seems to understand my problems. Well. I know i have to move on. I'm trying to.

Sorry guys this is not a makeup tutorial or review, but just giving you a quick update as well as a release :) I promise i will try to catch up with things that i've left behind, so that you guys won't get all confused and stuff. haha. Don't worry. I will be back being a makeup blogger:)

This is me now, a year after my last post :) I was trying to produce a soft, glamorous look for my fashion photoshoot (for my subject net communication blog) using red and nude lip, but red lip looked awful on me so i removed it before i took this pic. So yeah you guys can tell, my natural lip color is very pigmented!

I'll let you know how I go with my photoshoot on monday:)

Shu Uemura and MAC makeovers.

Hey guys. im back. it's been a long time huh? *sigh* i kno. i'll try my best to recall my memories. haha. a lot of things going on. My essays, holiday back home, chinese exams, and my results. Surprisingly my results are all acceptable. hahaha. not too bad, not too good. i mean they're close to my expectation. haha. I wasn't all crazy abt my holiday in Jakarta tis time. I went back for only a week and it was a mess. My parents and friends were telling me that i had no time for em. gosh. i dunno what to answer. what do you guys expect for a week stay? I only managed to meet up with some of my best friends which i had been dying to meet :(

Anyways. that's the end of all disappointment. My lil sis Nike was coming with me to melbourne. OMG. that's joy in our house. she's funny and supercute. love her. and a week after, my bf came. What a dreamy holiday!

alright. before flying back home i went to Shu Uemura store and bought the classic cleansing oil. it is the most unique makeup remover i've ever seen. it's definitely oil which feels greasy when you apply it on, but it becomes soap when you rinse with water. that's a plus isnt it? My revlon makeup remover was too oily and strong to my eyes. tis one when it gets to the eye, simply wash it with water then it's gone. hahaha. a good cleanser, overly good price. AUD 102 i believe. shit. for a cleanser. But thanks to the cleanser i was able to get a makeover. My MUA wasnt Japanese but Australians. She had a funky blond hair which is cool. She looks like a runway model to me. At that time i was so into a bronzy type of look, so that when she asked me what kind of look i want i said bronzy. well, she's an expert. she has worked with photographers before, and it's no wonder that my face becomes a masterpiece she made me. oh i still remember how fresh my face was. sooo perfect! but Shu Uemura's eyeshadows are from heaven i suppose. priceless for my pocket. haha. so i thot i'd find dupes from mac. I only bought the eyebrow pencil in hard formula no 02 after the makeover. the pencil is uniquely sharpened which makes the brow application easier and more natural. the blushes aren't that amazing but looks okay (she used 3 shades!) hahaha. She gave me the full list of stuffs she used on me from the skincare, primer, eyeshadows, blushes, lips, etc. I was so pleased with Shu uemura afterwards. i might go back and buy the products. i fell in love with em. haha.

In Jakarta i bought Shu Uemura's eyelash curler and MAC fluidline in Blacktrack (finally). they're cheaper there. i can't buy more coz my money is so limited. I wanted makeupforever's primer but well, the price is 6 digits rupiahs and i dont hold credit cards. bad luck.

Back here in melbourne, i bought Benefit She Laq which is a makeup sealer to prevent eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara from smudging. the product is ok. it works anyway. The day before yesterday i went to MAC pro stores in Chapel St and brought back MAC face and body foundation in shade C2. The product itself is a makeup artists bestseller foundation and used mostly for backstage makeup. Who needs more than that? hahaha. AUD 60 and the product is 3x more than the regular size. the finish is AMAZING, my new favourite beside Studio Sculpt. and you can use it on your legs too, esp if you got bruises and scars. that will make your skin glows and looks healthy (like your second skin).

Today, ehm. I had a makeover with MAC. the MUA is called Serena i believe, and she had worked in MAC pro store for 5 years (WOW). and i was too excited to ask her many things. ahaha. well, she did my eye makeup in a different way. When i did my makeup in Shu uemura, i was wearing the eyetape while today im not. i thot i'd want lo learn how to do the eyeshadow for eyes with no crease like me and my sisters. Well it's a bit unique. i never did my makeup this way. This is a tip from her.

All over the lid: Dark shimmery colors (eg. buckwheat), tap it with 232, blend it up with 217 till the color washed away.

Above the crease: Warm shimmery colors (eg. pollinator), with 217.

Browbone: matte, neutral colors (eg. Brule).

Eyeliner (upper lashline): with 266 (angled liner brush) fluidline blacktrack
(bottom lashline): with 266, use the same dark eyeshadow you use for the upper lid.
*for the eyeliner, she suggested me not to draw a wing out (like a cat eye) and not to draw on the waterline because both will close the eyes a little bit.

Face: she uses foundation brush (flat one like 190) first then swirl it with 187 (stippling brush). she adores face and body as well but in the city you cant get one, so she used mineralize satinfinish which has the similar finish to it. As a setting powder she used Studio Fix powder in C3.

Cheek: As I requested, she used Soft and Gentle mineralize skinfinish as a highlighter and 1 plummy-brownish shimmery pink mineralize blush (forgot the name). Again, the cheek work isnt that awesome.

And at the end of the session (supposedly 45mins but thanks to my enthusiasm it is 1hour) i purchased A LOT: soft and gentle, 266 angled brush, and three eyeshadows: mulch (dark bronze), woodwinked (pale, goldy brown), and sketch (dark plummy purple). They're all recommended by Elle in Youtube and MAC MUA said that they're very nice combined altogether=)
After makeover.
P.S:2 brushes on the left (Angled foundation brush and big powder brush) are from Myer Artiste manicare Professional. As good quality makeup brushes they're quite inexpensive. Now im no longer using my fingers to apply concealers. they are unhygienic and too messy for spots and scars concealing. im using small concealer brush from Artiste and it is more controlled.

OK. it's been nearly a month.

and i still cant manage my splurge with cosmetics. they're killing my conscience! I WANTED TO BELIEVE THAT MY COLLECTION IS ALREADY TOO MUCH BUT...

all my condemnation is for you tube.

yeah it sucks. i have been sucked in by people's reviews, tutorials, hyping about cosmetics. AHAHAHAH. im too concentrated with my make up study that my actual one is truly unforgivably. terribly. hell. I got straight Ps. which put a lot of emphasis of my lack of formal english expressions. I really2 hate it. I wanted to embrace my limitations but well. im way too over-confident i guess. ahaha. supposedly im doing a degree in make up artistry not MELBOURNE UNI's communication degree. now my eyes are like popped to the max realising that im now inside the second best uni in Australia, putting my damaged second language in contest with locals, and marked by professionals. no way im stressed now.

ok back to my point.
IM IN LOVE WITH MAC BRUSHES. i never believed that i'd buy such things. too lux. too exp. looks rubbish rite. but in fact i bought the 187 (dual fibre) yesterday. for $85. that's ridiculous. though ppl said that this stuff is amazing. multipurpose (blush, powder, liquid foundation) but for indonesians this is OMG. i know. i wont buy any brushes from mac anymore. ARRHHGGg.
anyway. LOVING THIS. this is worth buying. i don't know why but i think for brushes there's no need to buy expensive ones while they are not specific or unique enough. Like for blush, you may not necessarily need the heavenly pricey MAC one. can get cheaper from body shop. but 187 is well known for its EXELLENT JOB at applying liquid foundations, leaving the air-brushed look on your face. I know we all can use fingers or sponges but i asked MAC make up artist and he said that both tools will genetically (normally-_-") produce a heavier look on your face as they pick up more products. OF COURSE I DON'T WANT A CAKEY FACE. i want it to look more natural. so i buy it. AHAHAHA. I ADORE THIS BRUSH. maybe it'll soon be one of my products that i cant live without. haha. im still practicing the swirling motions man. not used to. haha. but tried it today with MAC studio fix fluid NC25 and it looked gorgeous. ahahah. i don't feel heavy.

i happened to get the 239 brush as well coz i exchanged my SUCKING deep dark MSF. FINALLY get rid of this stuff. AHAHAHAH. thanks to David Jones staffs. you're amazing guys! LUUUUFFFF. 239 is like the only must have for me because i have small eyes. Don't need specific brush. I don't even need to apply more than 2 shades on my eyes. 239 simply does everything for your eye makeup. it picks up just a right amount of color.

second favourite: MAC liquid foundations.
i blame my stupidity for asking 3 free samples from David Jones last month: MAC Mineralize Satinfinish, MAC Studio Fix Fluid, and the latest one- MAC Studio Sculpt. They are all in NC 30.

Yesterday i asked MYER to give me those as well! AHAHAHAHAHa but not mineralize satinfinish coz i know i liked it just as i like my benefit tinted moisturiser. surprisingly, MYER MAC lady gave me in NC 25! omg. i was actually not sure enough why the lady (Rosa) in David Jones gave me NC 30. I think NC 30 is a bit darker than my skin. I look tan. ahahah. not bad actually. i don't know. I think the difference between those two is quite huge. but i think NC 25 is good on me as well. I got a sample on MAC prep and prime skin base too. AHAHAHA haven't tried it yet.

im not so sure about how they differ from the texture, the finish, the consistency etc. I heard hypes about the Studio Sculpt (how it's voted as no.1 choice of runway make up artists) so AGAIN. i watched reviews. and now in love with all of them. Can't decide 1. by no means the comments are all positive. Many said that Studio Fix broke them out and cakey, Studio sculpt not suitable with oily skin, they become orangey throughout the day, and etc.

I tried the mineralize satinfinish and i LOVE it. OMG i know the coverage is low-cant cover my spots and scars. But that's exactly what I need for everyday look! it's sheer and has some glitters in it. It makes my skin glows and shines just like, a healthy skin! it doesnot look like make up. more like tinted moisturiser. love this.

Till yesterday i NEVER EVER tried MAC Studio Fix fluid because of the continuing critiques abt it. now im wearing it. AHAHAH. i don't know- i like this in spite of all the negative comments. maybe im not wearing it enough till it starts to break me out. AHAHAH. My skin looks matte because Studio Fix absorbs oil. I think this one is best to wear in parties and humid weather. long lasting. will not wear off like my inherited Shiseido Dual Balancing Foundation which is supposedly designed for combination skin. WTH i used this to go to Trinity Ball last year and in my photos i look like clowns with red shiny nose. oohhh never ever purchase tis one.

STUDIO SCULPT. my FAVEEEEEESSSS. loveee thisssss....
i dont know. this looks like a mix between those two above. it provides good coverage. i mean it's real foundation. conceals my imperfections but yet not matte or powdery look like studio fix. it's really moisturising that my skin looks glowy as well. satiny finish. ooooh niceeee. love thissss. might purchase this one soon. hahah.
i really need second opinion on which colour should i purchase. NC 30 or NC 25. both looks OK. i think NC 30 is for summer coz it's a bit tan on me and NC 25 for winter. no matter what i need to get studio sculpt. see later if the studio fix breaks me out badly i will not purchase that one. hohoho. TTYL!

The rebirth of my lashes.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. i won't do the same stupid thing which caused my lashes fall out. NO WAY. EVER. hahahaha. MY LASHES HAVE GROWN PRETTILY AS USUAL!! HOHO.
i've never had lots of lashes genetically. but it's okay. im happy. hahaha. i can replace them with my fake lashes. :)

i watched youtube. I've been always wondering why most make-up gurus carry big fat orange mascara thing. i didn't know till one of them mentioned.
It is a COVERGIRL LASH BLAST mascara. They said it's like the best and cheap. well it IS cheap. today bought it from BIG W and it's only 18$ which is not like shu uemuras. 40$ something. OMG.
It's not in a lot of stock. only 3 there, which 2 of them were black brown. I want a true black.
anyway it's a volumising mascara. it's clumping but shu uemura's also clumping. i think the clumps do make the lashes thicker. i don't mind. But this must be combined with my loreal false lash effect which is more like lengthening. I swear i look best if i wear both. I cant wear lash blast coz the wand is so thick it wouldnt get into my deepest roots. I can wear loreal alone but i will look rather unnatural with each of my lash standing so straight separatedly. Lash blast do finalise everything!

and here is me! ohohoho im soo happy. but i don't dare curl them guys. so scared that i might lose them againnn. tis one i just using my lashblast alone. not looking very long.

The tricolour lipglasses are FABULOUS though the payoffs are so sheer. The price is more expensive than the regular line though. but it's still prettyyyyyyyyyy................... huhuhuhu loving the first from the right one! Consume me.

Im planning to get the MSF perfect topping coz the colors are just so gorgeous. the payoff is so great for cheeks and highlighting. the final color blends looks like champagne, whitish beige color. so pretty!!! Refined looks amazing too, only it's darker and bronzer. It's so good to create a healthy glow all over your face. i swear it's damn pretty. People said the MSFs are the most satisfying for the Sugarsweet collection.

Im actually craving for the pastel pink Saint Germain lipstick, in which i'd snatch it up if only it isn't sold out yet! :( However i got the lollipop loving which is the orange one. it's a glaze, and it's so pretty. i've never seen such a color could conceal my lips discoloration. so great. it's quite sheer though, so the payoff isn't bright orange. it's soft peach.

Look at their prettiness!!!! omg. The nail lacquers are as great. they are all pastel, which I LOVE. But i don't think i'd buy nail lacquers from MAC. they're bloody expensive!

OK. moving on to my alter-ego.
Last (Monday i think) i went to Westfield, Doncaster with Shinta, Sari, and Gabby. FYI doncaster is super far. We had to catch a bus, and get off at the very last stop. can you imagine how far it is? haha.
I NEVER EVER REGRET GOING THERE. it's my heaven. i found my heaven.....meet my angels there...MYER! HAHA. i visited the MAC store straightaway, and found my cute kitties on display. and guess what. MANY OF THEM WERE STILL THERE!!! THEY'RE NOT SOLD OUT!!!!!!!! OH NO. luckily i still had my money back there. quickly i took 3 items that i've been DYING to get. pinkfish tinted lip conditioner, she loves candy lipglass, and fun and games blush. I actually wanted to get Big bow as well, but my lips are so pigmented already that i don't think i'd make them look more swollen.lol

I got the sample of SUPER TINY little Popster lip conditioner. Why MAC persons have to be so ungenerously stingy! huh. anyway secretly i 'took' more popster the next day :)

Enough. Here comes my complaints to MAC.
I trust her after all this time. I always went to her when i need something. OH WHY? She disappoints me! I bought one MSF natural from MAC in Deep Dark, which i plan to use it to contour my cheekbones, and it ended so terrible. it IS a disaster. She and I thought that one could produce more natural looking finish and yes she said that lots of ppl have used it for contouring. I didn't know that we can actually choose normal bronzer for contouring. i took her suggestion.! she should give me MAC blushes not MSF! it is WAY TOO ORANGE for me. omg. i look like wearing a fake tan lotion. so orange. it's not dark it's orange! I was watching videos and tutorials abt contouring and the gurus looked amazing with dark shade contour. I even went to NARS and the woman said that the contour is too orange. Instead NARS bronzer is perfect and popular. i think the name is Lagoona bronzer. it costs $70 which is kinda abnormal. LOL. I BLAME MAC. for my lashes for my cheeks and for my money!

But still i love MAC. hahahaha. Now i realise that before going to the MAC counter i'd have to watch youtube recommendations first. They help a lot!

I bought 2 things which a lot of people said are must haves for MAC.

Ignore the MSF compact. it sucks.
1. MAC studio finish concealer with SPF 30+. I tell you. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING for undereye and blemishes. It is different from other concealers including shu uemura's. The coverage is perfect. This is the most popular concealer so far as i've seen. It comes in different shades in which you'll definitely find the true match for your skintone, which makes MAC a pro :) loving this. Other brands' concealers comes only in three shades: light, medium, and dark which makes it slightly different from your skintone and therefore the makes your imperfection even worse.
2. MAC lip conditioner stick with SPF 15. This is definitely a must have for those who have chapped, dry lips. It moisturises your lips instantly after application. when i mean moisturising it means moisturising from the inside, not only make your lips look smooth and slick. By all means, you can apply concealer straight after this. Concealer dries our lips surface therefore this is a great stuff to use as a primer.

OK. i've never talked about what's inside my makeup bag. This is not permanent since im still a newly addict of make up :) oh ya i just bought this lavender juicy couture makeup bag yesterday and LOVIN IT! sooo pretty! hahaha. it's only $19. fake one of course. If i was a rich girl. nanananannananananaaaa~~~ What i carry usually: Hello kitty sheer mystery powder for touch ups, one lipstick (currently lollipop loving), one lipglass (currently she loves candy), pink fish tinted lip conditioner, my eyetapes (coz they come off easily!), a tissue (to wipe off any mistakes, stain, and smudges), a concealer to redo covering the undereyes and blemishes if they wear off throughout the day, and a brown eyeliner. I find that pencil eyeliner doesn't do well on me as it is very prone to smudge on my bottom lids, even the waterproof one. Therefore i find it necessary to carry just one brown in case my eyeliner smudges really badly that it needs a redo. Heard many people said that MAC eyeliners are the best. well i bought one MAC technakohl and it still smudges although it's the most perfect eyeliner i've bought so far..ARRGH. hate it. Im going to get the MAC liquidlast in coco bar (the brown one) for sure next time. If my sis allows me to. HAHAHA. no budget guys~
MAC liquidlast liners are so purrrfect. Im not buying the black one because i mainly use it for my bottomline and black will be too bold and heavy.

OMG i've written a LOT. haha. it's a sign that i've been so sinful throughout the week. lol

MAC Hello Kitty Kouture has come out! and i bought 'it' on the first day. (Im not saying 'them' ok!).
LOOK AT THIS. AREN'T THEY SO PRETTY????????I BOUGHT THE COMPACT POWDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are Swarovski Crystals embedded on it. SO PRETTY! OMG can't resist buying it. i didn't EVEN TRY to snatch the lipglasses. My mom will be furious. They are EXPENSIVE to the max. I AM REALLY REALLY BROKE. for a pressed powder's sake. JESUS. But the compact can be used forever! it's a gorgeous asset! The lipglasses are cute, accompanied with Swarovski charms. They comes in 2 colors fuchsia and pale pink. I wanna grab the pale pink but never see it in store. HUH. And FYI, the mystery sheer powder stock finishes in 2 days. wow. Australians must be really rich.

Anyway im saving on money now. I buy 2 dollared foods to satisfy my hunger or eat at home instead. heh. this is my beauty sacrifice.

and today i snatched up 2 more things. Strayin' lipstick from MAC Hello Kitty (last one in Victoria!) and MAC paint peintures for eye base in Bare Canvas. THEY ARE AMAZING. i tell you. Strayin' has the signature color of Hello Kitty itself. PINK. very cute pink! I'd been trying on the tester and i'd never thought that it's good on my lips (It is BOLD color) and i initially think that i look like auntie. Even by the time i bought this stuff i still look creepy. But i can't take my eyes off that thing everytime i saw MAC Hello Kitty. So i decided to buy it and play some tricks. I believe that Asians do look good on bold colors!

The problem is that my lips are dark so when i applied strayin' it'll look like dark fuchsia instead of playful pink. So how people on the websites managed to get super cute look with it? They look like barbie, I look like auntie. GRR.

Finally I watched videos from youtube that suggests applying concealer on lips. OMG. this is really working on me! Concealer covers the dark lines so that any lipsticks applied will be much much lighter. OMG. i look like barbie with bubblegum pink lips! *wink* hahahaha.

Btw. Forget to tell u guys that i've quit using eyetapes and fake lashes. yeah im afraid that they will make my eyes dirty and another precious lashes fall out again. good reason what? :)
But as you can see im still glamorously glowing as a uniquely asian. (or singaporean?) HAHA *proud*. I enhance my eyes with eyeshadows instead.

MAC paint peintures. firstly i didn't consider buying any eyebase or primer under my eye makeup but i realised that without it the colors aren't really showing, sometimes they smudge..and most of all, every beauty junkie must have one. (spotted on youtube and beauty websites). haha.

I tried that on. AND it's fab. it brightens my upper eye area INSTANTLY, creating natural highlights if you wear it alone. With eyeshadows on the top of it, you will get gorgeous, bold colors as seen in ads. This works similarly as concealer i used on lips. I heard that with MAC paint you can sleep with your makeup on, and when you wake up the it would stay still. hahaha. :)

The problem with MAC paint is that the packaging comes in a tube, so when i squeeze it it won't stop oozing out. It's totally a messy waste coz it dries quickly. can't save it.GRR. Im also loving MAC paint pot, which comes in many shimmery colors. can be used as a base too.! they're really popular actually.(according to youtube). But as a starter i prefer something matte like this Bare Canvas. It's really basic girls you've got to own it. It can be used as concealer under your eyes too!

That's my guilty obsession of MAC recently. I'm sure nobody will understand my spending on those items but if you watch on youtube you'd be surprised of how ppl manage to buy almost all of the collection. hahaha. It's limited edition and it won't come out again!

i managed to try romping eyeshadow, that is, the fuchsia shade in too dolly palette! I tried what the MAC crews did actually. And i added my new false eyelashes. They're gorgeous i swear! My friends all said they look really natural and gorgeous. That's why maybe u can't really see the difference with normal lashes. They're building lustrous eyelashes instantly, without damaging your eyelashes! And they're cheap too! (it depends where u buy them. if u buy Shu uemura's they're bloody expensive $42). I bought them in Faceshop for $5! Korean stores are beauty experts!

OK. for both one-third corners of the eye im using romping eyeshadow first, and in the middle of the eye apply yoghurt. For better result use it as a highlight as well.

OH well. I've never believed that wearing too much eyeshadow is better. But to tell you the truth a dramatic look on the top will never be complete without making a line on the bottom as well. It can be the same colour, or u can play with it a bit with another bright colour. Because it's only one single line it won't show much. MAC crews used too dolly eyeshadow under the eyes. I did that as well, combining it with romping on my outer half.

TIME FOR MAKE UP SESSION~!!!!!

Well i am feeling beautiful today so i bother doing the experiments. hahah.
I've been wondering how to use Too Dolly quad. The colours are incredibly showing off and bright. But can't help, I love them. They are just too gorgeously kitty and barbie. Especially too dolly colour. Im in love with that.

And these are all you need.Too Dolly quad, black eyeliner, white eyeliner, blusher, eyeshadow blender, Tippy blush on from MAC, black eyeshadow, white shimmery eyeshadow, and Fashion Mews glaze lipstick from MAC. Too simple!! hahaha.

Im not applying foundation for my everyday look okay. it'll clog your pores. but apply some if you want. Im just using light tinted moisturiser from Benefit and tap a bit of beige powder at the top of it.

OK. Step 1. If you guys have eyebags or dark circles under your eyes, apply concealer or eye brightener to cover them. You don't want your eyebags puffing like you've never slept for years. hahaha. Choose the correct one close to your skintone. Concealer is very basic need girls. You cant just ignore buying them. You can simply wearing it alone without any makeup and you still look fresh. just under the eye. and some to cover your pimples as well.

Step 2. for me it's applying the tinted moisturiser. You can replace it by wearing foundation or powder instead.

Step 3. apply eyeliners. apply black on the outer half under your eyes, and white for the other inner half. They produce bigger eyes. See the line under my eyes. should look like that.

Step 4. Using ur finger or small eyeshadow applicator u have, take a bit of Too dolly pallete (the blue one) and apply that to your whole eyelids. Only eyelids girls coz the colour's too bright. If you have small eyelids then you can blend it more upward.

Step 5. White eyeshadow. Apply that to the rest of ur whole upper eye area as a highlight(including the inner corner of your eyes), till you meet your eyebrows. The enhancement gives the sense of higher brow, clean, but still dramatic look.

Step 6. Black eyeshadow. Tap A BIT of it with the eyeshadow blender, and GENTLY tap it at the end of your eyelids. Don't apply too much otherwise you'll look scary and fierce and this is not smokey eye. Can blend a bit upward, outside the crease but remember, you only need a very small area for it ok.

They should look like this. Sorry if the colours do not look mixed properly. i tried to take the pic in the dark to help u see better.Step 7. The blush. Again, Tippy is quite bright, strong pink colour so don't tap too much on it. Use the blusher to blend it to your cheekbones. There are some rules to create shades for a skinnier look. I'll show you next time. For this time just blend it evenly.

Step 8. Apply the lipstick. hahaha.

See the dark and light shades on my cheek (above). If you apply it correctly, a blush on won't look clowny. They work best for chubby cheeks, as you can hardly define any bones there. hahaha :)

The reason why the colours don't look intense on me is because i don't have eyelids. Therefore im wearing eye tapes to make one. hahahahah.

P.S: I don't wear this kind of make up to school ok! don't tell me that i'm a bimbo. lol .
Oh well, if you don't have any problems with your lashes don't forget to put on your mascara! :)

BOUGHT MORE MORE MORE MORE. SHIT. I've spent more than $300 for this SUPER CUTE MAC HELLO KITTY. BOUGHT 3 more. 1 tippy blush on, 2 eyeshadow palletes: Too Dolly and Lucky Tom.

THEY ARE THE BESTEST PART. LEMME TELL YOU.

Each pallete has 4 shades. why did i end buying 2? the answer is because THEY ARE SPLENDORS. I realised that they are just a must buy. too high end. too kitty. Oh-my-God. Hard to choose one.

Too Dolly is people's favourite. Because the colors are dramatic and bold, no wonder it is categorized as hello kitty WILD. Consists of Yogurt (frosty pale pink), Romping (deep fuschia), Too Dolly(aqua blueish green) and Stately Black (glittery black). These shades match best with my tippy(pink)blush on. I'd probably wear them at parties. Those MAC crews are combining the fuschia with yogurt. They look fab. Or maybe coz whites are beautiful. (HAHA). I look cheap in fuschia, but i'd try another way to look good in that. next time.

Lucky tom is typically classic, peachy, soft, and girlie. Asians with yellow skin tone look best in this, including me. Creme Royal(my fave! soft gold), Paradisco(peachy orange), Stylin'(blueish purple) and Lucky Tom(dark brown). If only my eyelashes grow faster i'd wear them everyday. They are really really statement. Combine Creme royal with Paradisco. They work for me.

HOWEVER. i need my Fun & Games(peach) beauty powder blush to go with lucky tom. It's in the picture guys. Sold out everywhere. SOLD OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Im crazy. Im sentimental. IM MAD. on thurs it were there at David Jones. I had no money. GOOD. the next day the pink blush on was standing alone. so i get that instead.
Don't get me wrong i also liked the pink colour. The MACperson said it'll suit me better than the peach one. BUT STILL. I need peach blush on. It's really natural. It's sweet! huhuhuhuhuhuuuuuuuu.

And these are how they look IN TOTAL. Those two palletes, powder blush, lipstick, and lipglass. (am i crazy? LOL) My friends' eyes popped as they see my MAC bag. Oh, and those 2 round shimmers are free samples. (see how those stingy crews softens as i bought so many of their products). They are also kitty's. Apply them after layers of eyeshadows to look glam.

And this is how my bathroom looks now. My everyday make up collection is the one which is out. ONLY. There are still bunches inside the tin and my vintage bag. hahahahahah. (proud.)

Glaze lipstick Fashion Mew and LipGlass Fast Friends. THEY ARE FABULOUS and VERY VERY LIMITEDLY HELLO KITTY. Tmr's gonna buy another. Kitty's pink blush on, shocking pink lipstick, shocking pink lipglass, and the eye pallete. and I don't want to sacrifice my cute kitties. they are MINE MINE MINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. How stupid i am, assuming that they launched on thursday so i came just today. Since Monday they've collected a large number of girls queuing for MAC hello kitty. GRRRRRRR

anyway im quite lucky coz i've got my fashion mew's lipstick!!! i've been hunting them! And it goes REALLY WELL with the glittery violet lipgloss. KYAAAAA i've ditched my fave shocking pink for this purple lipgloss. IT's JUST SOOO RARE. Never see deep violet lipgloss look good on me.

Oh ya. i've spent $81 for these two products. Im not a big spender ok. They are just so alluring that i cant resist buying just one! NEXT: THE BLUSH.

My precious lash fell out again. AGAIN. AGAIIIIINNNNNNN!!!
Im sure got some little bald spot in my eyelids. oh why God is not fair?????? LASHES GIVE DEFINITION IF SOMEONE'S FEMININE OR NOT! (well, for me lashes are female's soul)

I promised my mom not to wear any mascaras or eyeliner. but the case is that my fragile weakling lashes keep falling out when i rub my eyes with towels (after showering).

FYI. My eyelashes are few. THEY ARE DEFINITELY FEW. LESS than most girls have. OH NO. I have to use really perfect mascara to define my lashes BEFORE. now even the best would not do anything. Their condition could i never explain. apparently aggravating coz they grow slowly.

MAC MASCARA is to blame. Girls, DO NOT BUY MAC MASCARA I TELL YOU OK. It's the worst mascara ever. It is really wet, leaving ur lashes look heavy and well, shrinking. OF course i want an elegantly curly and thick lashes that go up not down, so i used the eyelash curler from the faceshop. Im sure the curler is not the problem, bcause i had used it before with loreal mascara and both were okay. And unfortunately yes, with mac, my eyelashes started falling out. .

till now...UHUHUHKKKKHUHUUKKKKKKKKSS.

I've tried to find eyelash serum for the strength and growth of eyelashes, but cant find any. Ended up buying shu uemura's lash repair. Does it really work? Again, not sure coz 2 lashes have fallen out since then.

Guys i really really need ur help. if someone could ever solve my problem i'd give manymany thankss...T.T

Anyway. I've been dreaming of having perfectly thick, defined eyelashes as what advertisements always present. My boyfriend thinks so as well. He adores girls with heavy make up (oh well im not one). I even lost all my lashes. OH WHYYYYY. It's all girls dreams to have pretty lashes.

Well i advise you guys to really pay attention to your lashes. Do not rub them too much, do not use curler too much especially if you're an everyday mascara user. Better to have it done at saloon. I heard it lasts about 1-3months. Oh ya. i recommend using Shu Uemura's ultimate expression mascara. It's perfect. Your beautiful lashes will be instantly present without using any curler. fantastic. no roots out. Why didn't i buy it before. MAC sucks!

However. I STILL DEEPLY. BLOODILY. ENVY GIRLS WITH LONG LASHES. You know, Girlfriend beauty editor Sarah implied that natural look still can't go without mascara. It's like a must have for all bimbos. haha. yes. it's only mascara you need to look glam in a click.

Hi Everyone!

Im Natasya, the sexy owner of this beauty blog :) currently studying at the University of Melbourne, doing my first year degree in Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications), and i love to write journals. hohoho. I am Indonesian, within the bloodstream of Chinese, but i can hardly speak any. haha. Soon i'll do! :))

Well, i'd be only 19 this year, and i already HEART make up so much! Before i was really, really a bimbolike dummy at it, and my skill has improved alot since my infatuation increases. I'm kinda proud of it actually. I'd love to do magic to girls' faces :)
OK, i'd be straight now. My strict fundamental in make up is 'keep it matte and naked'. I love doing massive touch but i'd still abide to my rule. If i did the eyes dramatically, the lips are gonna be very, very nude. I hate glossy lips UNLESS we're talking about photography make up. I just think they produce an unreasonably cheap look. Matte is best.

Speaking about this journals. I think this is gonna suit those who never wear make up before. I'm not talking pro nor using high level standards in my methods. I'll just basically showing you guys how i did my make up. Hopefully i could capture good quality pics that could help you see what i mean. :)

For conventionals, please do not be rude to young girls who love make up. Beauty is natural we all know. As a good body needs a good clothes, why not dressing up for a beautiful face? It's not botox or having a surgery. IT'S an ART PIECE! can't u see how fun it is, playing with colours and shades, experimenting with them till u find which ones are great for you. It's a lot of fun.

FYI, Im loving the upcoming MAC hello kitty edition!!!!!!!!!!!! HELLO KITTY IS JUST PUUUURRRRRFECTly little make up guru! hahahahah. In singapore they are out already and im waiting for aussie now. I think it's gonna out on the 19th March? Hope so. i promise i'd POST AS SOON AS I BOUGHT THE COLLECTION! HAHAHA.

OMGEEEHHHHH!!!!!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be expensive coz im going to buy HEAPs. hahah.
